Here is how I make it work with bulky keys: I don't always have both key fobs, DH is out of town and I am using both cars this week. Normally I leave my key fob hanging out for easy access. If you add some jump clips to the keys, you can make most keys fit well. With one key fob only, everything fits inside pretty well. The only other thing I keep in there if my gym card, the cles (key) pouch is all I carry when I go to the gym.
